Bort-Swiss Orthopedic Supply LLC offers the following Returns Policy:

At Bort-Swiss Orthopedic Supply, LLC, our return policy is congruent with industry standards. All of our products have a limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear and tear during the usage of a product is not considered a defect. Please, inspect the items for possible defects that would affect wear and durability prior to use.

RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
For orders placed directly with BSOS-
Returned/Exchange of items must be returned within 30 days, including all original BORT packaging, in new condition. We cannot refund items, if items were worn (less initial try-on), soiled or defaced in any manner. Please include a copy of your invoice or packing slip with your request. Ship returns/exchange to BSOS address.  You may return or exchange products for a refund of the full purchase price (minus a 15 % restocking fee, shipping & handling). *Returns using mailing envelopes will be refused due to damage & crushing of items. Please contact us for further assistance.
For orders placed with a Distributor/ 3rd party- Please contact your distributor (found in the 'Bill To' section of your invoice & packing list) for their return/exchange policy. Returns & Exchanges must be sent to their address. Their contact information is noted in the 'Billed To' section of your invoice/packing list.  *Returns using mailing envelopes will be refused due to damage & crushing of items. Thank you for choosing BORT Products.

CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders are ordered from Germany just for you & are not held in our United States inventory. Therefore, custom orders are considered non-refundable, non-returnable.

NSF CHECKS
Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Checks will be subject to a $25 processing fee.

COLLECTIONS
In the event of default, including non-payment, and if this account is turned over to an agency and/or an attorney for collections, the client agrees to pay the total balance plus all reasonable attorney fees and/or costs whether or not suit is filed.

BACKORDERS
Backorders are orders that are currently out-of-stock and in process of being re-ordered from Germany. There is NO additional cost to you for this service. Please allow additional 3-4 weeks for international delivery, clearing FDA & Customs. We kindly ask for your patience and apologize in advance for any inconvience.

SHIPPING WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL US

  • All orders placed by 2:00 PM EST Mon-Fri will be shipped-out within 24 hours, the next *business day.
    Saturday, Sunday and Holidays are exceptions. Additional shipping time is required for International orders.
  • Orders placed Sat -Sun & Holidays: All orders placed Friday (after 2:00 PM EST) thru Sunday night will ship-out by Tuesday.
  • Priority Mail vs. Two Day
    • Priority Mail is generally 2-3 business days shipping. This includes Free Tracking Information available upon request. This requires additional time for longer or remote areas. (Example- California.)
    • Not available for International orders.
    • TWO DAY has a Guarantee of 2 day delivery, minus holiday & week-ends. Call us for Saturday & Holiday Guarantee Rates. Not available for International Orders.

    Express Mail is our preferred USPS overnight deliver service. We offer this service within the USA only. Orders must be recieved before 2:00 p.m. to ensure enough processing time. This keeps our overnight service affordable. (Remote areas may take one day longer, therefore we cannot guarantee this service for all areas.)

    • *Business Days/Hours = Monday-Friday, 10:00 am- 5:00 pm EST., minus holidays.
